Thousands of people, both Irish and non-Irish alike, will celebrate Irish heritage by attending one of the many parades around the U.S. this weekend in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
USA TODAY is providing live coverage Saturday morning of celebrations in multiple cities for St. Patrick's Day, including in New York City, Chicago and Savannah, Georgia. You can watch parade coverage at the embedded video at the top of the page or on USA TODAY's YouTube channel.
For many Americans, St. Patrick's Day is more than just a day of religious observance for the patron saint of Ireland, although that's the reason why celebrations began. In the U.S., the holiday (which is not recognized federally) is also a chance for everyone to celebrate Irish culture and heritage.
Even if you can't make it in person, there's still an option to watch some of the most popular parades happening around the country. Here's how to watch.
