Panda Express introduces dessert item for the first time: How to get a free Apple Pie Roll

Panda Express is celebrating its 40th anniversary by introducing its first-ever dessert option: the Apple Pie Roll.
The fast food chain describes the newest item on its menu as "a sweet and fun American Chinese creation featuring a combination of juicy apples, fall spices, and cinnamon sugar like a classic American apple pie and wrapped in a crispy and flaky wonton wrapper, like a quintessential Chinese egg roll."
"As we reflect upon Panda Express's forty-year journey, we are incredibly grateful for our pioneers that paved the way for Panda to create and popularize American Chinese food," Andrea Cherng, Chief Brand Officer at Panda Express said in a statement.
"In celebration of Panda Express's 40th birthday, we are introducing what we hope to be the next beloved American Chinese classic, Apple Pie Roll, our first-ever dessert and a sweet and fun celebration of our American and Chinese origins," she added.

Panda Express’ new Apple Pie Roll is available in 1-piece and 6-piece orders for $2 and $11.20, respectively, though prices may vary depending on location.

There are 150 calories and 13 grams of sugar in a 1.94 oz. serving size of Apple Pie Roll.

Panda Express said that the chain will celebrate its milestone anniversary throughout October, by offering all Panda Rewards members the opportunity to redeem one Apple Pie Roll for free.
Customers can sign up via the Panda Express mobile app or online at PandaRewards.com. Once you're signed up, you can find a free Apple Pie Roll under the Rewards tab − select that and redeem the offer in-store or online.
